Vinyl cutting shops refused to cut this textured carbon-look material so I went at it with a knife by hand. Turned out ok.

B77- I drew up the logo in CAD, printed a .pdf and laid it over the vinyl to cut it.
Thanks DrogeN Omen but These cost me $5 for a metre of the vinyl and I've got my eye in now if I feel the need for Pegasuses. (Pegasi?). I've drawn them up already.
Thanks Shawns.
If anybody needs a .pdf of the drawing as previous in this post, let me know. I corrected the BUEL for the frame to have the correct lines in perspective.

Tried to get tire valves today and spent half a day trawling tire shops for the required smaller diameter and deeper reach. No luck yet. Did get a few bits from Harley. (front disc springs, idle cable, clutch lever pin, fuel filter and fuel pump o-rings. The fuel screen is proving fairly elusive but it is now eventually ordered. HOW do I end up with a bike where I can't reassemble the entire rear end because of a wait for a fuel screen. Only Buell.

Found valves eventually, had the tire fitted and put it all together this evening and bled the brakes.

Looking at this pic again, I think the shock foot at least should be black. Thinking of having the rear brake lever and gear lever black anodised as well.

I suppose I should be replacing the shock oil as well (40 000 km) how necessary is this? Anybody have advice to offer on this?

Cyclops fitted but would prefer the original. Going to post the fairing which came with the bike to swap for an original headlamp setup.

Finally got my fuel screen and was able to re-assemble the pump and fit it. Couldn't stop - fitted the wheel, belt, tensioner, hugger, swing arm and sliders as well. Not fun getting the tensioner on with a new poly chain - much levering, squeezing and jacking and got it done. Is there some trick that I don't know about because the tensioner bolts took some serious strain in the process.

The trick is to loosen the axle a good bit until the tapered section of the axle allows the rear wheel to move forward. The belt will loosen and allow you to remove/refit the idler pulley.

DrogeN Omen - Afraid they were on the bike when I bought it so I have no Idea where they came from. I recently went at the manufacturers decals with white spirit and removed them. If I can find out, I will let you know.

Thanks Eric - that makes sense. Just wish I'd asked before doing the job. Next time. Many thanks.

I spent a great day yesterday fitting the chin spoiler, seat struts and under seat electrics as well as mounting the rear indicators. Will try to post some pics later.

I should get my re-upholtered seat back in the next three days then I only need the Dieselmoto sub-frame spacer which he is replacing after sending me two left hand ones. Shipped 23 July.....still waiting - not easy to be this far away.

how much you want for the spare left spacer? :) unless you sent it back...

i could swap ya for a T-Shirt?

yup thats me :)

have a Large and a Medium in stock

Spot the missing seat, sub-frame spacer and brake lever. Tried to have the lever anodised and found that it is Magnesium Alloy and not do-able. Waiting for spacer and seat. Now to set tps and map. First time so wish me luck, it looks complicated but easy if you know how.

looking nice ... I wanted to paint mine as well but a bit worried paint like this is not going to last long ... keep us updated how is bike doing ...

what did you paint your header pipes with?

when your right spacer turns up can you take a mold of it? maybe a resin mold or something so it makes it though customs :) was originally thinking a plaster mold but it would probably be mistaken for drugs or something hahahaha

i have a friend here in New Zealand who could probably make me the right hand spacer for a 12 pack of beer if he had a mold.
