Maiden. That looks like something to keep his stand straight. Cheap insurance type stuff.

Brandon bikes comin together nicely man. And my prayers go out to your friend in the hospital.

Yeah the jack handle was just to hold the stand when I lifted the bike off the floor since I didn't have any help to lift the bike and hold the stand at the same time

Well took off from the hospital so my buddy could get some much needed sleep.

Grabbed the mail and got a couple other things. New Plug Wires 8mm Race wires (Taylor). And a new timing cover, a Spade Design

IMO, you should paint the bolts black. That's what I did with mine and it adds slight accents which look great.

All the bolts were polished up and then brushed, once the bike is complete and all set to go the bolts should accent what else has a brushed finish on the bike, such as the lip of the wheels.

My old bike was completely black and all the hardware was silver, I thought it looked really good and was a nice way to break up the dark colors.

i csant even imagine doing this! i wish i could.... its just too much of something ive never done! ive worked on cars, but... u got skillz brother.. ill definately give ya that.[up]

I hve have plenty of truck/car builds under my belt and this is nothing compared to a larger scale vehicle build. It seems overwhelming but the reality is there are just a bunch of small parts and if kept in order things go fairly smoothly.

You will always have the small hang up type stuff but for the most part tarring down a bike, unless building tons if stuff from scratch and needing to do a ton of clean up to get fit and finish all dialed in, is straight forward.

Looking great man.....if/when my motor craps out, I might go a little crazy with the rebuild myself.

Well a little closer. Need some wiring, brake lines, and paint. I decided I don't like the tank cover so it is going up for sale and I will be buying something different. [smirk]

Any way here are the updates.
