you might be a buell owner if you are smart enough to get your toys before having children. i don't know, but it works for me.
 
by the time you figure out how to get the perfect ecm tuning your dead of old age.
or
your wondering why your bike wont start after you
uploaded a new bin and think you bricked your ecm.

• You enjoy performing 30 minutes of maintenance for every tank of gas.

If you do not really care about bikes but you really care about Buell XB since it is for sure different in every sence.
 
If you keep seeing this topic back at the top and wonder what someone posted on here not realizing it was only funny in there head.....

•I was referring to the fact that an engine kit may provide substantial additional acceleration as to illicit an involuntary response to the tune of needing to change one's underwear.
•I was referring to the fact that many Buell owners take pride in doing our own work and are always looking to make the bike run its very best.
•I was referring to the fact that the vast majority of Buell owners customize their bikes and spend a lot of time and effort in modifying their bikes exactly as they want their bikes.

Snarky comments like the 'a*sless chaps sale' are why I don't often frequent this board.
The inability to help yourself from flaming someone for no apparent reason doesn't really instill a high opinion of you, Rhino1. If you don't find something funny, or don't get it, please refrain from posting derogatory things directed toward a registered member.

And by the way, isn't it easier to just scroll past a comment you deem unacceptable, than to type a hasty (or poorly proofread) response? How about you contribute something you deem satisfactory to this thread, if you're going to take the time to comment?

You get the "who farted?" face at gas stations when you fire it up because "a crotch rocket shouldn't make that sound."

Your right thigh has a mysterious heat callous on it.

The scenic route is too short.

Your glad that you wear a full face because that way people don't see you grinning like an idiot.

A trophy wife goes out of her way to compliment your bike after stepping out of the passenger side of her sugar daddy's BMW. Or maybe that's just me.
 
haven't read the whole thread but this is what i'v experienced...

-if people stop you, put their tongue back in their mouth, and ask you what the heck you are riding.(security guards, drunks at the bar, friends, other riders, random ppl in traffic)
-girls ask for a ride(and i say no, get your own bike)
-people hear a harley coming then do a double take when a buell passes them.
-hop on the bike to run down the street, 2 hours later you realize what you set out to do will have to wait another day :)
-checking the weather every 5 minutes on a rainy day waiting for it to pass.
