OK I was riding on monday and out of the blue my bike just quit.Once I got it pulled over I found the fuel pump not running. So on my side of the road dia I found the relay clicking when I cycle the key.I swapped the relays and still no go.Pulled the fuses and all looked good.Called a ride back to the house. No this evening I had a minute to take a look at it.Now I don't have a neutral lamp on nor do I have any clicking from my relay's.Cleaned the ground near the left side of the frame just below the fuel tank and did some checking here and there but without any luck.In the service manual I have it shows 2 grounds(not counting the battery ground).Where might I find the other one? What is a good starting point on trying to find the problem. Is there a common problem?

twobuells I tried that and a no go.Anybody got some pointers. The weather is great finally and need to get back going.

I had a similar problem. Where I wasn't getting the neutral lamp. Batt was good an all my fuses were fine. It was my ignition switch that was faulty. I jumped the wires over from the park position to the star one. So now I don't have a parking light position but it runs. Good luck hope this helps.

Ok I finally was able to put some time in today.Netural light inop from a bad wire from neutral switch.Repaired the wire and have a light on now.Looked further in to the fuel pump not working found no ground at the fuel pump. The ground is provided by the ecm.Made a make shift replay to give the pump a ground and the bike runs now.Now I have a check engine light on.Prob from the fuel pump not being wired to the ecm any more.Anybody got any Ideas where to find a ecm at a decent price?
