    Fork tube size?

If your switching from a S front to a R front its really easy. No harness needed. All your electronics are in the tail. You will want R throttle cables, clutch cables, and Brake line as well. Especially being that your going from a STT which has taller bars I believe. I did the same swap...

Anyone like this idea? Self Contained Data Logging Unit

First time I came across this thread. Its probably dead, but just something I thought about. When I used to log my xb, I would lock the afvs and such to allow logging. Would a feature to set the ecm into a logging "mode" be possible? Probably is a mute point by now, but just thinking out loud.

Just to add a the perspective of going down with gear. I highsided at 70-80 on the track and flipped head over heels and slid down the track only god knows how far! I was wearing full gear and walked away with nothing but a few bruises and a slightly sprained wrist. But I agree with DMP...

2000 X1 Red Stripe Edition less then 3000 miles 4500 obo Northern NJ

Hey Guys I am putting a feeler out for my 2000 x1. I absolutely love this bike, but I am trying to find some capital for a business opportunity and I have to choose between one of my two bikes. Unfortunately the X1 loses that battle(for me). I am asking $4500 obo. I bought it with 2700 miles...

    Project P-51 Mustang Buell

Yeah I thought of that as well. I have a acewell speedo/tach I want to use. Its on of the 2" or so circular ones. Very sleek and minimal. Kinda the look I am going for. I was thinking of machining a bracket/filler to go between the headlight and top tree. The cut a hole to fit the...

    Project P-51 Mustang Buell

Ahh... Forgot with the S top tree you have that piece that hangs down for the sideways ignition. I was thinking of the R tree which only has the two under the tree. Gonna be a little more challenging for me with the R tree. Looks great Baja, cant wait to see what you come up with for...

    Project P-51 Mustang Buell

Nice headlight. Just bought the same one for my tuber. Doing the xb front end with that headlight and R top tree. I had a similar ideal for mounting it but was going to run all the way to the bottom tree for a second mounting point. That plate looks pretty beefy, dont think it will shake...

    xb12s full fairings

I have a fairing stay and a fairing that needs some paint. Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Are you looking to keep your S bars and tree, or swap for the clip ons as well? If want to keep the bars, you may have to trim the fairing to have enough clearance.

Front stand for fork and triple tree work?

Yeah the only thing you can use to work on the trees, is something under the muffler or a strap, to suspend the frame from the ceiling. I usually use a auto jack with rubber pad combined with a rear stand. I strap the rear tire down so the rear is secure. If you just want to work on the...

What you think of my city riding gear/ help with suggestions!

If your going to be commuting and want rain gear with you all the time, Frogg Togs work great and roll up into a little sack you can throw in a tail bag, or backpack easily. Very light and breathable, but 100% waterproof. http://www.froggtoggs.com
