Day 1 of learning to ride Buell XB9R. . . spilled it

I started out on a Buell too and it's definitely not the easiest starter bike. Trust me and enroll in an MSF course before you dump it again. ;)

    Burning maps?

1: Open your Stock EEPROM with ECMSpy in one window so you can see your Map/Timing Values. 2: Open the Maps you want on your ECM in another ECMspy window. (Much safer this way than trying to flash the entire EEPROM). 3: Highlight all of the rear cylinder fuel values for the Jardine map...

How-To: Crank Case Breather Mod (with pics)

I run mine with no catch can, no problems, with an open end. Zip tied the open end under the LH footpeg neatly and get a few droplets on the side of the swingarm ever so often.

Then the plugs aren't the problem. White wire mod is for 9's only. Not sure about domestic/foreign.

White wire mod messed it up! I think?

You need to do a Learn-in ride. Take a nice long steady cruise @ a steady RPM. (Assuming you had the right wire & a good TPS reset.)

    ceramic coating

Hot Air travels faster. Ceramic coating evacuates (dissipates) the heated exhaust gases faster because ceramic doesn't absorb & transfer the heat like uncoated steel or even chrome. This means cooler engine temps which means better performance, especially for our air-cooled engines.

power on, power off, power on...dead!

Have it checked under Load at any Auto Parts store - it's free. You can't go by static readings when checking batteries. Hope it's that simple. If still checks good, post back up...

    Gap NGK Iridium spark plugs??

Check gaps at the counter and keep swapping until you get a set that is properly gapped - then pay for them.
