    I went with an APH reverso, made by albert666, a forum member. Great sound, excellent mid-range and got rid of the dead spots my race pipe gave me.

    Here is a visual of good and bad....... also you should change your clutch cable guide to the new style. The wire ones are prone to breakage letting your cable melt on the front header. Looks like this...

    Are you talking about the front muffler mount? If so there should be 2 aluminum bushings (spacers) on the inside of the mount that the bolt goes through. Check and see if they are there.
