Hey XB12ed.. so that's it? take off the two band clamps in back and front and the muffler can come down?

i had planned to to this yesterday and after stripping out the head of TWO Torx bolts.. I finally got the chin fairing off, the other cover off and it looked like taking the muffler off woudl be a B*tch! there are lines (brake?) lines running IN the muffler clamp! did you guys just take off...

I had a neighbor (who has an old Ninja zx6 e) ask my wife what kind of bike it was she said "a Buell" he said "those things are pretty fast.... IN a straight Line" lol I thought that was funny.. considering that the 600 ninja would be better in a straight line probably

I just would like it a little louder.. I know on past bikes it was common to just drill holes or take out one of the baffles.. anyone do that with these? can I do so and not need to re-map etc...?

what are you guys averaging per tank? I know on my Harley I was going 190mile almost on the dot and the fuel light would come on. I could then go another 40-50 before needing gas I'm new the Buell, only put a couple hundred miles on it yet, Just found out about the "F" tripometer so... ...

I think next change I'll go to Synth one thing I really can't understand is why they decided to put that fan so that it blows the hot air on your leg! couldn't they have pointed it down or somehow deflect it so it does not have to blow on your leg?

well, today my wife and I did the breather hose re-route and changed the oil very easy! the oil (and this was the first time doing it on this bike so it took a bit longer) was just a snap! maybe 15 mins? easy!

one question.. 2.5 qts PLUS the 4oz in filter?? or is it 2.5 with the 4oz included in it?
