    My 08 was burning bulbs from over charging,The voltage reg. was the problem ,The simplest way to know is check voltage at battery while running, mine was way up around 16. I changed reg. and problem solved.

    Speedo error

    If it is a 12 and has a 9 primary, it should be aprox 4mph slower then indicated. if it is a 9 with a 12 primary it will be about 4mph faster.

    I might have tried it long ago,except I searched the web and didnt find a sport radial in that size,they were all bias or touring tires.Unless you want a rear tire.

    If its a 12, when your tach is at 3000 your speedo should read just short of 62mph.and if so, it can be within 1 to 2 mph depending on actual rear tire diameter,or analog tach.

    S+S,Actually has a sportster after market motor that is 100 inch that fits into a stock sportster.I considered geting one for my sportster project but its over 3000 dollars.Guys have rear wheeled over 140hp with it.But if you were trying to changing for more hp it would the easiest to make fit.
