    Unplug the fan, and see if you're still blowing fuses. If not, replace the fan. If you still blow fuses with the fan unplugged, you have a short to ground somewhere in the main harness. If you don't know how to diagnose a short to ground, then do yourself a favor and take it to a good mechanic...

    Here is mine. Sorry I don't have a closer picture. Cut the center out, painted the locking plate red, pulley black, polished the bolts, and polished a thin ring around the. Pulley. Ill try to find a better pic later. (On the toilet )

    I have it. You could make your own if you are crafty. Its just a couple long bolts, washers, nuts and a plate. It does the job and looks cool if you have a translucent intake cover.

I used a wiz wheel for the basic hole, and then followed it up with a pencil style die grinder with a very small cutting bit @ about 40,000 rpms hooked up to an air compressor.     Remove the left side air scoop and stick a finger or 2 up in there to help guide the plug. Glad your bike is working man [up] next time this happens, try tapping on the ecm with a small screw driver or something.

    It souns to me like a bad ecm. Do you have a warranty on it? Could also be a broken wire i guess. Does your dvom do continuity?

    You cant lock your forks. This mod is best done with a keyless gas cap, and removing the seat lock. I think the best place to get them in the us is www.speiglerusa.com I have a youtube video of it in a post on this website. Just cant remember where.

    I dont know if this is a common problem or not. I have only had a buell for less than a year too lol. Ive done all the electrical diagnostics at my shop for the last 7 years and Ive come to learn that if it can go bad, it will.
