    SX Demo Ride?

Not my picture but, saw one off these at Flemington Yamaha/EBR when I dropped my FZ-07 off for service. Did a quick search and it is a limited edition of 50. Not sure on any price difference but I love the colour.

    The Closing Of A Chapter

Stopped by my Yamaha/EBR dealer (4 miles from my house!!) to get some chain lube (first chain driven bike so go figure I didn't have any chain lube). Look what they have...

    The Closing Of A Chapter

Just put 120 miles on the FZ today, went up to Bethlehem, PA for the Musik Fest. Hung out for a few hours and went home. Filled up my first tank since taking ownership. 156 miles on the tank only took 2.233 gallons. Could have easily made it to 200 miles. I love the bike! Two up riding is great...

I think I may need to get in touch with 50dro and see if axle sliders are a possibility!

    The Closing Of A Chapter

It has been a while since I rode my 1125 (since October) but from what I remember this has the same feel as far as torque and riding position. Obviously the CR was much quicker and probably about 20mph faster (need to wait for the break in to finish). I would compare it to my old XB9R. I was...

    The Closing Of A Chapter

Well today marks the end of chapter one in the book of my motorcycles. I bought my first non Buell today. 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 from Flemington Yamaha/EBR. I love everything about it, it closely resembles my CR in spirit. I hope to one day own an EBR but for now the FZ-07 will do me well. Put 20...

    about time

A Buell is the ultimate therapy, had some troubling times a few years ago and then I got my CR, best times of my life. Even just the ride home from work would make a shitty day turn into a good day.

    keyed source?

On my cr I just stuck it between the top of the fork and the fairing, opposite of the ignition key. You can probably do something similar next to your instrument cluster.

Tires that last longer than 3k for Blast?

what's the longest lasting tire for the front and rear stock Buell Blast sizes? It seems my MT75 rear is only going to get me about 2,400 miles and the front about 4,000. It would be amazing if there is an option that lasts at least 50% more. If I can get 5k out of a rear ill be happy. Any input...

Just passed 3,000 miles on the Blast, hoping to put at least another 3,000 on in the next few months.

    njdevils1990....intro and pics!!!

So this is my wet weather follow up, rode to work and back today with a decently strong cold front dumping rain over us. From what I experienced, I felt like these tires inspired more confidence in wet weather than the stock tires did in the dry. I am 100% pleased with their all around...

    njdevils1990....intro and pics!!!

First impressions of the MT75 are, it's an amazing tire in the handling department. Doesn't break loose during breaking as easily either. I will update later on wet weather performance and a long term update on tire wear and milage. Odometer at install 2,649 miles Specs -Front 100/80R16 50T...

20 minutes (minus a trip to advance auto for a 30mm socket) and wheels are off and ready for their new tires, this is probably the easiest wheel removal of any Buell that I've worked on at least.

New Pirelli MT75 tires for the Blast. Should have them mounted tomorrow. Will update with mileage and other info on their performance. For $150 front and rear I'll be happy with 3k miles.

    njdevils1990....intro and pics!!!

Just ordered a set of Pirelli MT75 tires for the Blast, should make it handle a little better but will sacrifice in longevity, probably only a 2,500 Mike tire at best. Anything is better than the 12 year old, dry rotted Dunlops on it now haha. Any tips on lifting the Blast up with a motorcycle...

    blast owners manual

So, silly me looked through the service manual a little more and found everything I needed. Just changed the oil in both holes, and adjusted the clutch. I may have to adjust it a bit more as it seems to shift just a little harder than "normal" but ill leave that for another day as it isn't too bad.
