    Must NOT do mods?

    I like all the standard mods I did, clip-ons, Jardine pipe, breather re route to water separator catch can, air box delete, racing clutch, EBR brake rotor and race springs front and rear, CGR levers, NGK Iridium plugs, etc. The only issue I have is the ECM remap. Giving me fits!

    Thanks, drilling stuff is kind of a Cafe bike thang. Drilled out the shifter as well. Those gloves are some of my oldies. Mesh gloves only last one riding season which is a shame because they are so damn comfortable. But, at about $40 a pair, that's not bad for a season of riding.

    Did mine in '10. I was bored one day and started drilling. I build cafe racer replicas and have drilled a lot of sprocket covers and so that's where I got the idea. Much better than buying an expensive piece of CNC'd billet., IMHO...

    Harbor Freight has a $39 (?) bead breaker. I wrapped the uprights with duct tape to prevent it from marring the rim because it does make contact. You can't beat the leverage it produces. But yeah, fighting a 180 + rear tire is a work-out. Also, I learned from car guys that plain white hand...

    Yes on first three. Kickstand does not have a switch, but wiring harness has a plug. Remember, this bike is assembled from other Buell XB models. When I was sorting things out over a year ago, I had to cut off the kick stand plug (because there was nothing to connect it to) and jump the wires...

    Part number N0306.02AB is shown as correct for '04 Firebolts and Lightnings. The number is then superseded in '05 to '08. I did have the correct ECM after all. The fuel map must just suck ass...
