I was starting up my 03 firebolt and everything was normal. When I hit the electric starter switch, it turned the engine maybe once then the instrument cluster lost power and no controls were responsive. The engine didn't start and oddly enough, the cluster gets power when the kill switch is engaged (and kick stand up). The humming noise is coming from behind the key switch relay and all relays are good.

After messing with it a bit, I also found that when the kick stand is down, tranny is in neutral, and ignition on, lights stay on with that humming noise except when I pull in the clutch. Then the cluster looses power and it just like is was above.

Humming/Buzzing usually come from electric contacts not contacting fully. All the relays in there are the same, have you tried swapping them yet to see if the "humming" follows that particular relay. If it does, you've just got a bad relay and needs replacing with an EP36 relay.

Thanks for the replay!

But yea I have tried switching and its stays in the same spot... I thought about that too so I checked the grounds and everything was good... I even made my own ground and it worked but then when I would go to crank the motor, all I get is clicking from the solenoid and the ground wires get very very hot

Any ideas? [confused]

Oh but I must add I did a visual check on the grounds... so I'm not completely confident in their integrity...

...and the ground wires get very very hot
Unhook you're ground from you're battery before you burn it down! Sounds like you've got a hot & ground squashed together or something - but I'm no Electrical expert. You need to work you're way back into the "humming" area. Also, check around the "neck" where the wires run up through the triple tree - it's a common area to wear wires through thier insulation.
