Cafe racer anyone?

I had a kz440 for my first bike. I traded it in, and wish I had kept it.

I currently have a kz750b (big brother of the 400/440) in my garage waiting as a project.

I also have a cb750, but that is more of a resto project.

I sold my '81 KZ 750 LTD last year when I got my tuber. I wanted to keep both bikes but sadly didn't have the storage space. I couldn't bring myself to park it next to the shed through the winter. I ended up selling it to my neighbors kid for his first bike. I still see it almost every day though. I'm going to be teaching the kid to change the chain and sprockets next sunday.

From the sounds of it the sportster tank is still going to be an air box and house the electrical. I'm one for different hence the Buell not many around me. Man do people butcher the name when asking what it is.

Lol you should see what happens when I ride my sportster bobber in the rain with no front fender...I get a 5 foot fan of water straight in my face [cool]

Gonna be leaving for work out of state in a few days so no updates for a while. Yes I painted the foam and it shriveled up lesson learned. Where it's at right now. Next step is to order a bunch of parts...

I have a 1980 Kawasaki 550 that I am going to start on after the end of the year,was planning to start earlier than this but other stuff happened to take all my extra money,major thing is the rust on it.

Update.. put some pro taper bars on removed some unwanted crap and will be adding my stock buell turn signals.. also slipped the front forks to lower front end.. cleaned carbs and changed plugs.. have oil to do oil change and will need head gaskets and valve cover gaskets I believe.. still need to decide on what color to paint and what to do with exhaust..
