When I lived on Bethel Island, they used to do high speed (100mph+) endurance water skiing contests:eek: Kick ass, tiny, twin engine boats and some surprisingly 'mature' contestants involved. Who knew that was a thing?

The only Methel Island I can find is in CA Bay Area. When was that?

You're so right jetlee, thats what the locals call it too! Nor Cal is a completely different state than So. Cal.

Yup, right on the Sacramento Delta. Would have been 2010-11 in the Sugar Barge Resort. I had borrowed a buddies speedboat and had my own FX140 WaveRunner in the slip so I could either walk down with the dogs to hop in the boat go find an deserted 'island' for us to chill on, let them dig in the sand or bark at the waves, or I could knock on Chases door (God Rest :concern:) and the 2 of us would wakeboard all day from sunrise to sunset. Alternatively, getting on the old POS golf cart I bought, and driving it over to the crappy golf course was another good way to kill a 12-pack:very_drunk:

Best.
Summers.
Ever.

Found it! This was a shot of it when we first got to Florida (Yes I hauled that stupid thing across the whole US)
I added the hood sticker and gold pinstripes, because.

I hope everyones been getting out (safely of course) and adding to their mental sanity tank by putting miles under their tires!
Bubbles and I braved the nightmarishly cold 61* day to run around in the Santa Monica Mountains:black_eyed: Los Flores/Piuma, all good pavement and pretty much deserted of cagers:) Look how FAR you can see!!
Air quality in the LA basin hasn't been this good... Well, ever:eek:

This is our backyard, literally. No one for miles & miles. Red squiggly line is our place.
