I know that this has probably been discussed before but would it be worth it to install a wide band O2 sensor or just a waste of money?

Using the stock narrowband just means less accuracy and more Logging rides - but it's doable and better than just the stock map.

Or this thread has some systems you can purchase as well as more info: - Wideband 02 sensor for Tuning? Definitely wouldn't be a Waste of money.

Hey all, I apologize, but the ECM spy download link is down. I had to re-install the OS on my computer and haven't got a chance to put the "stuff" back online yet. The computer this is hosted on is actually my media center computer in the living room. I'll have to upload a pic or two, I'm sure there are some other geeks on this site that would be amused. Hopefully this weekend I'll have a chance to get it fixed.

Thanks Stevec150! Are there any general rules when tuning for the first time? Big "do's & don'ts"?

Big Do: Save a copy of your EEPROM as-is. That way you've always got it to fall back on if something goes wrong. In fact, it'd be best to save 2 copies so if one computer goes down, you've still got it on a thumbdrive or disc.

Also, the key has to be on to work on the bike with ECMSpy, so pull the headlight fuse to save your battery.
