engine light came on for a second. why?

Unless 08 is different in its self diagnostics it will store the code. Saved to memory. Does the chek engine light flash 6 times very rapidly? If not something is not right should do that no matter a code or not.

its 04.. no nothing flashes at all when I stick that clip in there.. and there is no engine warning light.. everything is normal

The clip must be installed with everything off. Cycle key and kill switch to on after pins are connected

In the holes, do you have any other wire, speaker wire, any wire.

I use a large flat head screw driver. Double check you have the correct pins.

I got about 6 or 7 fast flashes and 4 slow ones.. so I guess its 4..

I havent done a TPS reset in about a year.. and my battery isnt that great.. could be that. In the meantime Ill clean my battery connections. Thanks 9bolt

Im going to put the snorkel back in the intake too.. crash may be right.. maybe too much air and running lean?

I had the same code and same experience going to Daytona for Octoberfest. Only difference is I didn't let off till I got off 95(needless to say it didn't go off till then either). Didn't notice any issues with performance at all, even accelerating harder.

When I got back the next day I checked it out and I lost a bolt on my rear header. The lose header was allowing cold air in the header and throwing the 02 off.

I fixed the bolts (changed all 4 and gaskets) it fixed the code. A few weeks later the code came back. First thought was bolt again but all was good. Changed the 02 and haven't had any issues since.

Check for exhaust leak but it my just be your 02 going bad. The sencond time it started throwing the code it was the same situation at high speeds. Auto zone stocks the bosh 02 and its cheap less than $20. A little bit of a bitch to get to but cheap.
