Technically the 1125's are as much American made as Shakira is... some parts of it were made here in the US, but the heart of the beast is now Austrian made (Rotax) the same will continue with the new 1190 since it is based off of the Rotax motor.

His new bike may start to look like the crowd of bikes nowadays but I know the differences and I know what the beast within will do to the competition. The performance will outweigh the looks and thats dandy with me

If it's a dual muffler system as we are suspecting, take that hideous thing off of the side and leave the under slung one in place

Pehaps that side mounted muffler is just extra muffling that can easily be removed? Maybe there's a real exhaust system with that peice just getting it past noise emissions.

If it keeps that muffler it wont look any different than the average jap bike... from the bake it looks like any other 2011 GSXR1000, CBR1000RR or CBR600RR...

I like my bikes looking different to the rest..

If your watching this thread Erik, I'm hoping keep the under slung muffler... we are ones that will be buying your bikes after all...

Look at those pictures. The bike still has the underslung muffler. Those silencers can easily be removed.

I think that is a bolt on piece in order to pass emissions. I think you can just unbolt that little extension piece.
