getting into photography

I like my images a bit darker than most, its just my style.
and who am I to say any style is wrong? I don't make much money at this yet, not sure if I ever will...

that said her is some more of my stuff as I "go pro"

You take some very colorful pictures.. I just started with photography about a month ago been experimenting ever since. I shoot with a nikon d5000 it gets the job done for what i need it for. The picture of the field and the bike is shot with bracketing -2/0/+2 and processed with photomatix the rest were just raw images and I changed the exposures then processed.

thanks, I have been shooting for a few months now, and I also shoot Nikon
I wish I had the ability to process RAW files but I don't have the CPU power for it right now. I only have a netbook so no heavy lifting allowed.
I need to do some experimenting with HDR photos in the near future.

no offense but this thread was started because I wanted to share my passion and journey into photography with everyone

but I know what you mean, I haven't had the time to just grab my gear and go for a walk like I used to...
real life keeps getting in the way

but I am setting time aside for when the leaves start to turn colors, that cant be missed. Ill take the bike for a ride and shoot from it, I hope I get some good ones.
