everyone says its loud...but i dont notice till my ears are ringing after riding.

Is this muffler going to piss off my neighbors? How loud is this pipe? I would like to have it done but I don't want a headache when I ride.

It's loud but definitely not the loudest I've heard. I guess it depends on how nice your neighbors are... I like mine a lot. It sort of mellows out at cruising RPMs.

What part of the country are you in? Perhaps there's someone near you that has one for you to check out? You could check out my videos that I posted on this thread too...I did a before and after clip to show the difference.

He makes them in 3 different noise levels. Pick the quiet one, and send it back to upgrade to the medium if it's too quiet. That's what I'm going to do.

I got the standard Hawk, and I was a little caught off guard by how much louder it was than stock. But now I LOVE it and kind of wish I got the loudest version. You'll most recognize the difference at idle and acceleration, because it does sort of mellow out at cruise.

I just sent my muffler to Randy yesterday. I'm having him make it as loud as possible. I'm not worried about the noise. That's why they make ear plugs! I just want assholes driving in cars around me to know i'm there!!

Don't worry about noise. Unless you live in a seniors only development, no one will care.
A Harley 88 with Long Shots is louder.

Still, plenty loud enough to set off car alarms

Randy- long time no talk! Glad you're still in the business, and can't wait to see what you do with the 1125. If it's anything like your XB it'll be one bad ride.

Surely after 18 pages, everyone realizes that Hawk's the only way to go!

Finally got a chance to ride my bike after 3 weeks away. Seems real sweet with the K&N on it with the Hawk Pipe.

Phase, that combo worked very well for me. The ECM adjusted just fine.
Getting a Bluetooth Helmet is kinda pointless now.

Sent my muffler of this morning I can't wait! Will see if this muffler makes a difference I plan on running it on the dyno as soon as I get it
