Yeah i just cant wait to get it back so i can put my bike together lol. I have it tore apart all over the basement and every time my wife comes down here she starts to complain. Im going to try a diy heat barrier under the airbox then i can atleast get the top put together. When money permits i WILL get some sliders and maybe a pully cover 50-dro.

I just got off the phone with Randy and what a guy. He's out to make sure his customers are satisfied and get exactly what they want. Also he is chopping my cheese grater and flashing a race map to my stock ecm for free! Im shipping all my stuff out tomorrow and i cant wait to get it on my xb12! I highly recommend him check him out!

Got mine back yesterday and will put it on tonight. Peeking inside with a flashlight I cant see any baffling at all so I’m guessing it’s going to be LOUD!

I will admit I was skeptical after I looked at the exhaust on how it would sound. I thought it would sound harsh and “ringy” but my fears were put to rest when I fired it up! It sounded great! It was too late and I had too many drinks but I will ride it to work in the morning. I’m happy

After my commute to work I am very satisfied with my Hawk pipe. This weekend I’ll head up to Mt. Palomar and down to Borrego springs to see how it feels.

I got my exhaust in the mail today. I must say randy does excellent work. I will post pics when i install it this weekend. I hope my spark plug wires come in before monday so i can put this bike back together and ride it before it snows.

Got mine yesterday and man does this thing sound amazing! Randy is an awesome guy i would highly recommend giving him a call! He chopped my cheese grater and flashed a race map to my stock ecm for free. I had him put a 3 1/2 tip on my exhaust.

Ok good because thats about what mine is and was kind of worried but i picked the back of my bike up and all is good. I had just a 3" tip put on mine.

How much more rwhp will an xb9r get from stock to how randy sets em up? I can't find the numbers. He said he would cut the airbox, tune the ecm, and do the muffler too. Has anyone done a dyno before and after? O yeah plus it will have a k&n air filter

Here is my unofficial test outcome of the Hawk plus EBR ECM. Every time I take my bike to work there is a straight road just outside the airport. I always give the bike a WOT run. When my bike was stock except for the K&N filter I used to get 160KM/Hr on the run. With the hawk installed with K&N and stock ECM I got 170KM/Hr and with the HAWK, EBR ECM and K&N I regularly get 180 now in the same distance or maybe a bit less.

I want to dyno mine so I can get a base line with just the Hawk pipe them tune it to see what gains I get there. No base line with a stock pipe, but I could always use the factory numbers I guess.

So i got my bike out today for the first time since i installed my exhaust. WOW. All i have to say is NO audio clip i have heard has captured the true sound of randys exhaust. Truely amazing. Cant wait till spring to do some datalogging and tune this thing.
