I noticed a couple of days a go, that my bike would just stall, or almost stall - only when idling, and only when the front wheel was straight forward. But not always, just sometimes. Other then that, it ran just fine...
This is what found: The white gray wire coming off of pin 3 on the right hand controls connector under the instrument cluster. The wire in the wiring harness had a sight resistant change when moved... right at the spot in the harness that it runs into the plastic harness cover at the front of the frame - that routes it below the frame coming from behind the lights. Removing the bad section of wire, and replacing it with a good piece solved the problem. This wire caused an interruption of power to pin 1of the ECM.
Question: How do I reset the ECM to clear out any error codes that this might of caused and bring it back to original operating mode?
