It's all good. Just bustin' your balls about it.

Hey, I know the feeling getting the parts in your possession.

[up]

Haha I know man, it's all good! [up]

I'm a little irritated with dieselmoto, I ordered my fender eliminator from them last Saturday, and all their options were "in stock." I still haven't received an email about it being shipped yet!

Whoo! I emailed them yesterday and they sent me a tracking number overnight, will be here today! :D

Well, I just want to post since its been a while.....

Weather is starting to come around here in Eastern Ohio, so I will be bringing Layla out of storage (currently over at a friends garage)! I have a good amount of things to do to her once I get it back, and I cant wait to jump into it! Ill be cleaning out my garage this weekend, if its nice enough Ill bring her home this weekend, or next!

Just ordered my Arctic White chin cowl pieces, ordered a new black center piece as well. So, I will have a completely separate chin cowl. I plan on ordering some parts from ASB, and one will be the rivet delete kit. I will put that one on the Arctic White cowl.

Before putting my Hawk exhaust, EBR ECM, K&N intake, ASB open airbox kit, and everything else I have accumulated over the off season, I want to run two full tanks of gas through her. Id like get a good flush of the stabilizer thats in it now, along with another tank of just gas. While I have the stock exhaust off, I plan on giving the underneath a good cleaning, get some built up road grime off, along with re-polishing the headers, and an oil change. I plan on taking lots of pictures and posting often during this process, posting my thoughts and opinions along the way! Especially, about the performance mods I will be doing.

Id like to get some stands on order (next on my long, long list of things), so that will definitely help to hold the bike up nice and sturdy.

What do I still have on my, what seems to be, never ending list?

Rizoma signals - still not sure what color, Im thinking red as a little accent color.
ASV C5 levers - black with red adjusters.
Will need a new front tire soon this year.
50dro pulley cover.
New grips for when I put my Renthal Streetfighters on.
Re-adjust my suspension settings.
Redo my breather reroute.
Eventually this year Id like to get a new front rotor, pads, and the EBR mounting hardware.
New bar end mirrors, thinking maybe just going to one mirror, and just a bar end on the other side.
Knight Designs black pegs and Id like to get some of their brake and shift levers, too.
Im probably forgetting something, too.... not too sure! Lol.

Good lord, I knew when I bought this bike, there was a lot I wanted to do to it.... but damn! I didnt know it would be THIS much! However, I love it! My goal is to just, go all out on this XB and Im on my way, at least I feel like it! I want it to be one of the nicest Buells around me, considering I dont see too many, maybe Im already there?

Anyways, just wanting to update everybody since Ive kind of been dormant on this thread. Thanks everybody for checking it out, stay tuned! [up] :D

Couldn't take it anymore so I decided to break her out! Went for a nice 45 mile ride to cure the winter blues!

I've had the itch, so I decided I'll put some parts on tonight.... Fender eliminator and 2010 taillight! Here's some snaps before I start!

I knew it was going to look good with the fender eliminator and 2010 LED taillight.... But not this good! I love it! :D

Well, we had a beautiful weekend here in Northeast Ohio, and this week the weather forecast didn't look promising at all. In fact, it's snowing today. So, I figured now was the best time to strip her down and get all my shiny new parts installed. I started Sunday evening in stripping, cleaning, and modifying a few things. Been tinkering for a few hours every night since then. Here are a couple of pictures....

Last time she will ever be see in public in stock form.... kind of sad, but I love the fact I'll be the one modifying it.

Repolished my headers, too.

Tonight I'll be doing a fresh oil change, one more run over of cleaning her up, and getting my Hawk installed. If I can get to putting my Renthal bars on, that would be great. However, I'm still waiting for some grips, and the rivet delete kit for my Arctic White chin cowl too.

Oh, unfortunately no, not this year at least. I'm really hoping I can get there at least once. Maybe in a year or two I'll be able to get down there.

So, last night with the help of a friend, I got my Hawk mounted, ECM installed, and Rebthal bars on.

The EBR ECM requires you to do a TPS reset, and allow the bike to idle for 10 minutes. So, following directions as usual, I did the TPS and started the bike to let it idle. About 4-6 minutes into it, my dad pointed to the front header. It had turned cherry red! No knowing if this was normal, and being a little uncomfortable with this, I shut my bike off. I know the EBR ECM leans your bike out, but I have never seen this happen, nor in all the research I have done in deciding which tuning route to go, have I seen anybody posting this issue. I researched, and I found it happens. So, I proceeded. I let the bike cool down a little, and started again. This time, no cherry at all.

What was weird was the first time, when the header got cherry hot, there was abnormal idling, no spikes, nothing! Just got super hot at that spot.

Now on to the Hawk, hehehe.... LOVE the sound! I can't ride yet, as it was snowing last night and I'm waiting on new grips for the Renthals, but damn.... does she sound good!

Anyways, here are come pics. Still waiting on the ASB rivet delete kit for the chin cowl and some new grips. Once the chin cowl goes in, it'll really look good!

Lookin' good bro. [up]

Bummer about the weather. Here in central Florida it was about 55 degrees this morning. BRUTAL cold for my commute. :p

Looks great! [up]

You and I have twin bikes except mine has candy red wheels (and is an 9).

On the topic weather, we got snow on Tuesday and temps of 10F, but I hear the weekend is supposed to be "nice".
