Well, here is the new scooter... 2014 DRZ400SM. Was lucky enough to find a leftover instead of going with the white/ gold 2015 model. Rode her home and only had 0.4 miles on her when I picked it up.

Already did a few appearance mods, a rear fender eliminator, Zeta hand guards with built in turn signals, and slapped a bar end mirror on it.

I'll be getting a bonus next week from work. I'm thinking some go-fast mods are next. Just not sure if I want to hop it up with those just yet as I don't even have 200 miles on her! Lol!
 
3x3 airbox cut and pipe are usually the first things I remember guys doing on the sumo forums. May be a good cheap beginning opening up the airbox at least and tossing in a K&N.
 
Get a Magura Hymec clutch... for both bikes. On the Buell it improves a lot the clutch handling.
 
3X3, pipe, filter, and jetting are what are the common. Then it goes into the 39mm carb upgrade, hot cams, and so on lol.
