A little premature but thinking about pimping out one of my polymer pistols for the ultimate home protection setup.

Not sure which I'll go with but leaning towards the xdm.
Choices- xdm 40, xd 9 sc, or g 17

Some x tremegrips

Viridian laser light combo

And some trijicon night sights

Prob won't do the xd sc b/c it's a carry pistol, temted to do the glock but I think it makes more sense just to beat that up at the range. Also the 40 over the 9

These damn WI winters, all I get to do is play with guns and knives, ride my ATV when conditions are right (less than 12" of snow, unless it is the powdery stuff), eat and drink too much, and look at my bikes that are just waiting to be ridden. Spring can come any day know, I am ready to get riding again!

Ruger Bisley 45LC custom. Work done by Single Action Service Alan Harton, Houston,TX. Case hardening + charcoal bluing by Turnbull. Clements accessories 1/2 moon ejector rod, Super BH hammer, steel ejector housing. Belt Mountain cyl pin. Bowen rear sight. Harton made front blade with two gold elevation bars, Barrel shortened 1",full action overhaul, recut barrel throat, removed the warning label on the barrel, custom fit the stock grips with more rounded feel and machined frame for a better grip fit. Harton redused the clyinder to barrel gap to less than 0.002". Ruger wheel guns are all I have but this one is top shelf.

I paid just over $600. If you are military/police/firefighter/ems/first responder you can order direct, probably for a little less, but you will have to wait, and it is worth it. It is one smooth knife.
