I had that same tank bag. I hated it. I did love the tail bag though. It just didn't fit very well with my saddle bags. Too much of a PITA to take on and off.

Not to thread jack, but I am going to buy a cortech sport tank bag and a cortech touring tail bag to go with my cortech saddle bags. Hope all goes well!

[/thread jack]

Yeah both bags are expandable and I don't think the tank bag us the delux bag but It doesn't bother me I like them abd they don't get in my way which is nice. As far as the tank decal the Buell logo was on it from factory off of an 09 lightning I think and the transformer sticker I got off amazon for 1.50 ish. I will be changing up the look in the next couple months, I just need to locate rims (should be getting a rear next week) artic white tail, tank cover, and fly screen as well as 2010 CR decals and translucent blue Buell tank decals and all will be done.

Well I just got my radiator pods in from asb.com! Also the seat cowl and front fender should be shipping out soon, so I should have them in next week sometime. Clubman bars will be here Thursday and waiting for a response on getting a hero blue rear rim. In other news I no longer need to bandage my shoulder up after 4 1/2 months

The box was sitting there tempting me to so I opened it and took a look at the radiator shrouds they look sexy!

what are you doing with your old black ones shrouds? i got dibs on those if you are selling them...im an idiot and forgot to put the kickstand down when getting off left one is scratched and the other day slipped on gravel in a friends driveway and fell over on the right side...FML please let me know!

I am keeping the radiator shrouds, at least the right one, my left one is scratched from the previous owner dropping it. I got both of these off asb for 130 shipped with no issues getting them. heres a link to the black ones. Right side
Left side
they are $59.99 each and whatever shipping costs.

Thanks..i do know I can get them from there but was trying to find a cheaper alternative #poor college kid

YESS!! Im waiting for my regular live account to get re-activated (got hacked 2 months ago and changed to poland...:/ so when i log on its in polish on my xbox and their still investigating it so i cant just log on and play...) but about 2hours in and lvl13

maybe if i stop buying things for Lizzy i could get a the xbox wireless wheel.

On topic tho, got a reply from buellparts.net and they can get the rims in about 5-7 days and ship out from then.

Having issues with the clubman bars, does anyone have a picture of the right and left side where the wires, brake/clutch lines and throttle cables go into the front faring? And main issue is routing the throttle cables, they work fine untill I go full lock right they bind against the inside of the headlight housing.

Good news tho, I like the look and feel of the bars and got the front fender and seat cowl in from USPS.

Well finished installing the clubman bars....total time from start to finsh....about 9.5 hours, 80% of that from trying to figure out the throttle cable and when I did get it right I have no clue what I did to make it work!!!??? Ooh well but rode to work today and dam it's a huge difference in riding position, it feels more like my xb9r. As of now I'm not sure of I like it or not, I'm gonna give it a week and make a decision to keep the clubmans or put the high bar kit back on. If I do decide to switch back I will probably sell the clubmans and all the cables/lines.

Kit that I got out of the box: bars, shorter throttle cables, shorter brake and clutch lines and in the wad of tape there is the banjo nuts and crush washers.

Been a little while.
I will be picking up a set of Hero Blue rims tomorrow!!!
and after that all i need body wise is the intake cover, tail section and flyscreen then i can begin the transformation!!!!
Before i go and spend money on the plastics i will be in need of new tires, Im gonna go for the Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires. My set of Power Pures are down to about 1/32nd of tread in the middle and 3/32nds of tread in the edges, I did a little more straight riding/commuting than i would have liked so im gonna get a tire that will be better for that and the rainy/cold winter riding i will be doing. Come spring time i will be going back to the Power Pures for late spring to early fall riding. Also I just passed the 9,000 mile mark today on my way home from work and as of right now she has 9,004 miles on her which means im doing an average of about 38 miles per day since October 1st. No issues with her at all and I have been using the heated gear daily since the beginning of october.
