Glad you found it. My Uly once had a rattle. I traced it down to a loose bolt on my luggage rack.
On an SS Drummer the front pipe is "secured" to the muffler with silicone. If that silicone is compromised over time, the head pipe can bang against the front "cap" of the muffler.
