Ok, so Oregon law states that I need this riding class in order to be legal. Ok, 149.99$ later, and a full day of class 1.5 hours away, was not all that bad. I had fun on their little 250 cruisers. Made me wish I used my own, but I am still new to her so I was making the safe bet. So with a little luck, Monday I take my knowledge test then register my bike.... And I can finally ride!!!!!! Bikes been sitting in the garage for a month now.

Jug, they also have an advanced course that you should attend after you get a few miles on your bike.

Best money I ever spent. I'm considering attending another course soon just to refresh and meet some riders.

You also get a discount on your insurance depending on which carrier you use.

I wish the rider course was mandatory here in NY. I went to the intermediate course before I got my license - it was well worth it. I *highly* recommend any MSF course for any level of rider. It is a great skills refresher for those that think they know everything. And a really good/safe way to get a feel for those that are beginners. The small bikes help too! (and i kinda want a little 250 to kick around now)

Yea I am down for group rides for sure, I live on the coast near Newport. But dont know how much longer, I am awaiting orders on my next unit. So I am up for it for now.

Yea I think I will take that other course, this time with MY bike.
