Well bit the bullet and took to the shop, $130.00 hr , and I'm pretty sure they won't figure it out!

As suspected spent $130 at the Harley shop and they found absolutely nothing wrong.........$hit.......!

Just an update picked up my bike today. They did NOT charge me the$130 they said they would because they said they don't like to charge if they can't find the problem... In my opinion these are straight shooters. Though I'm disappointed I still have no solution Old Pueblo Harley Davidson in Tucson Arizona is fair..... Thumbs up to them.

Sounds like they took care of you! That's RARE with my experience with dealerships...

So, you have 2 choices. Continue to take it to repair shops and hope, and spend.

Or take off the air cleaner base and do all the checks yourself. Shouldn't take more than an hour... tops, even for a rookie:D You can always just put it back together and ride it, you aren't disabling anything.

Thanks for the info, it's always nice to know where the good guys are. Wish I could help you with your issue. Maybe one of the mechanically inclined AZ members can meet up with you to help you try and figure it out.

His problem is he is in Tucson, other than if someone is in Tucson, I am probably the closest, and still an hour and a half away. I agree though, some of these checks would take a few minutes and doesn't require a ton of tools or work space.

Do you have tools? If the weather is good you can work in the parking lot, especially you have experience with Buell screwing.

Ok guys so i blew through the fuel vent tube with the gas cap off and air entered just fine but when i put my gas cap on it was sealed off i tried to blow back in nothing? Could my cap be the issue?

Just ordered fuel cap and fuel cell vent valve, as i was told it should be one way only and that my cap should have vented as well. I know it was mentioned here to check for venting I just didn't know how to check the cap?

Really don't think your vet and cap are your problem. If you think your cap is the problem then if you remove it the bike should start. You should get a manual and go to the trouble shoot section to trouble shoot your problem.

This guy said my fuel isn't boiling because that would cause vapor lock that it is bubbling?

I doubt he knows everything but he is a Buell mechanic. And i sure don't know the issue I do know these two things are bad , and I'm trying to figure this out I'm not disregarding anything you said.

Last I checked, if a liquid is bubbling, it is boiling.

Have you checked any of the things we have suggested?

Replacing the vent is no easier than the majority of the checks we suggested.

I'm trying to work with cooters list, but I don't have a fuel pressure gauge. I also ordered new plugs and wires and will post the picture of the plugs when i get them. I've also checked the intake seal visually, cleaned my airbox and filter, made sure my plugs in the air box we're actually connected.

The cap and vent valve were lunatics suggestion on where to start a d they were both bad. Other friends told me to start there as well. But I read through this thread every other day to look for clues and suggestions..
