Thanks Guys.....should save some bucks in the long run.... I have an early serial number and did know that there were issues when I bought the bike. Already talked to my Harley Trained Mechanic and He is more than willing to get his hands dirty in the Buell...
 
Amsoil 20w50 ... full synthetic? or my choice, I guess , we don't need to start a debate.
I think I'll have to call the previous owner...
 
Amsoil, Redline, Royal Purple, Mobile One... The debate is almost as old as the internal combustion engine! Go with a quality synthetic in the proper weight and you can't go wrong. In Cold Canada, a15w50 might be a good option...
