Hey Guys!
If you have seen my previous posts, my girl is getting over injuries from a crash with a dumbass driver. She wants a 650 ninja, but she likes the firebolt. I know I can get them for cheaper than the ninja, I had one before i went to the bliss of the buell, but I am not sure if I can get it low enough for her, shes 5' tall. When she sits on my xb9sx she can one foot at best, and i have the low seat. I would like to lower it a decent amount....any advice? help! Id love for her to try these great bikes!

^ all of that will help for sure. However i am not sure how low exactly you are going to get a Buell for someone who is only 5'

feed her more, and the bike will drop,Just kidding,Like paul suggested the shocks are actually differnent lenghts and will lower the back, and if you take the circlip off the fork tube you can lower that a little, also remember if you lower the bike you will need to shorten the kick stand,to keep an angle so the bike dont fall over.I wish you were close,I have an xb12r with a shorter shock on it,so you could see the difference in height. My girlfriend is about that height,so I lowered a lot of bikes for her comfort.but she is comfortable on the lowered one toughing the ground

To lower my Firebolt, for the rear I installed a new Scg shock, and for the front I slipped the fork tubes. See my posts and pics. Helped a LOT. There is an aftermarket part that I saw on a street fighter site that will let you get the rear another 3/4" lower if you wanted to spend $180.

On one of the posts extremelow made a bracket for his rear shock,I dont remember if he was trying to lower it,But that would be an option

thanks for the info guys, the forks seem easy to find, i can modify the stand, tell me more about the rear shock options, prob looking to go a few inches down...i cant seem to find anything on the scg shock.

K0410.1AE...yellow spring installed on the assembly, newcastlehd.com $210.64, surdyke.com $216.80, LSHD1.com $230.35

have seen 'em on pinwall cycles, ebay for $50, might look at Buellsterparts.com also
