i told you not to ride it...

i know this is sad to say but....wait till someone downs an 1190, buy is cheap, fix it up, and you got a good as new 1190rs for a fraction of msrp:)

I would say if its an R version. Go for it. You won't be dissapointed. Actually got to test ride a demo model. ****** sweet man. I think they're by far the sickest/cleanest / sexiest / coolest bike ever made in the history of motorbikes [up]

Also I'm wondering how dubbed down the ebr is going to be on power since they have to get the cost down. Rc8r is 155 at the rear wheel with two different fuel maps. That's no slouch.

and this is the point of difference i see. i liked buell. both the xb's and the 1125 cause they are great bikes fun to ride, and they have belt drive.

i like belt drive as i can be lazy and like the minimal fuss and ease clean etc etc.

now i lik ethe EBR bike as well, but at the end of hte day it is more directly in line with the likes of the rc8 or even the new ducati coming. same sorts of power and weight and etc etc and both chain drive. yet unless a true loyalist both of hte latter offer a better servicing and back up network.

sad to say it, but even i am considering flucking my CR for the new ducati, so i would say go rc8 for sure.

can never part with my oompah though.

Last time a pole was involved in any decision I made it cost me more money than it was worth........ In the end I went home with empty pockets and wishfull dreams. :D

rc8 or wait for new buells?

I'd go for the Austrian powered one....no wait, I mean uh,,,,
Buy the Austrian powered one and hope it is more relaible than the Austrian powered one...er I mean uh[sad]

my final decision wont be in Lew of this post.

@Alf I'd go BMW but I already have a 06k1200r.

I'm leaning towards an rc8. I've ridden two. just a little bit nervous about slapping that much cash on the table :)

Get a 1995 CBR F3. It'll be awesome! ;) I think the R8 is dead sexy, but alot of good mentions here. Love the 1190's but $$$$??
