Okay, here we go. 2006 xb12 ss with s tail and straight pipe exhaust. I have no idea why the pictures are little, then big, then sideways. If I only knew computers like I do cars and bikes!

This picture shows the relocated shock reservoir with a 11 5/8" ctc hose. The seat latches down perfect with no spacers and the front of the seat mates perfectly to the air cover. Very comfotable to ride.

Are you stunting that thing, or just going with the bigger is better philosophy on those axle sliders.

the bigger is better philosophy on those axle sliders.

I trimmed them down when I made them and i was gonna trim them down again to about an inch and cap the ends but I kinda like that they look different. idk im still up in the air about it.

So my XB is in the final stages of some mods. Had a smallllll glimpse, and then the drool got in the way. Anyways, was hoping to have the Buellfighter yesterday (friday) for an annual ride with some friends. No joy, didn't want to rush it, so looked hiring a bike for the day. My mechanic guru (Doug) said not to hire, i can borrow his 1125CR while he worked on mine. Hot Damn!!!... other than some tiny quibbles, i friggin loved it! As soon as i got on, sweeeet as a cherry. Easy to ride, even easier than my XB. Slipper clutch is the best thing ever made, WHAT a difference. I will admit, very dangerous for me.... way to easy to lose a licence on this badboy. And then some!
As for my bike, we have an ETA of next Saturday. Not getting my hopes up too much, but oh wo sweet if i get back by next weekend.
Q: what is the standard nitrogen pressure in the rear shock set at please?
Cheers,
WOLF

Neeeeearly there.
Getting a bracket for the reservoir/shock from the states.
Hoping that will be the last major part needed, then it's a matter of finishing it off.
My mechanic has barely shown me the pics - keeping it under wraps but has it all documented. Will post the lot once complete.

I dont know how to do pictures very well on here, but you can see my bike on facebook if you search through my mobile photos. Justin Borja search email [email protected]. I have been riding my short tail for a few months now, and I love it. I got on a regular ss the other day and it felt like riding a goldwing.

Wolf, Congrats! That looks awesome! I just got my rails back from the machine shop today (snapped this pic) and then they went off to paint! Should have them back Tue morning! Hoping to get everything back on the bike Wed. - will post pics when I am done. -Baja
