Single. Apparently, I'm a psycho magnet. If theres 1 crazy chick in a crowd of 1000. I'll find her. One stalked me for about 7 years.

I have one of those "its complicated" situations going on now. She's gets jealous and will try to c0ckblock other girls by hanging out by my desk, but she knows how I feel and isn't stepping up either. So,I'm not chasing somebody who doesn't want to be caught. She can window shop if she wants as long as she knows I'll entertain serious offers first. Till something happens, whatever...I'm a nice guy but I'm not gonna be a doormat. Work, my degree, Family, My bike, these are the things that give back and these are the things I invest my time in.

Loki, just do your thing man, be yourself. Let her find you. Till then live and find all the experiences that will help define who you are. Love yourself for who you are, and other people will follow.

I am now 40 and been married twice.First time was a loss of my free time and the second is a great thing. The only thing from my first that I can really like is my son.He is now 12 and the second greatest thing in my life.I say the second because his sister is the other. How can you have one over the other? You can't thats why they are both second.Neither one will be loved more than the other. My current wife loves riding. She does not ride herself but likes the bitch seat on mine.I do get free time with the guys and do a good bit of guy stuff. She is the shit.BTW I am a great dad and only do my thing when she is off doing her thing. She goes to church and then to her moms on sundays and that leaves me the whole day to ride when I don't have my son.She knows I have 2 hobbies and will spend money on both.I think she figured it out with all the packages on the door step and new computer and bike parts.Well she is great to me and love her for putting up with my addictions. To the single guys here keep up the spirits and she will find you.BTW I have the 1 in a million find.I met my wife at the bar.lol.

Thanks for the awesome response guys, loved the reading!

And just to answer one of the questions, I have tried the online dating thing. My profile on PoF, if anyone cares to critique. But even online the pickings in Bismarck are pretty slim. (And by slim, I'm not referring to their weight.)

I definitely know two things I need to change.

First is my self confidence. I'd like to think I'm a decent looking guy, outgoing, intelligent, I've got a great job. But for some reason I turn into a bumbling idiot when it comes to women.

The second thing is I need to find a different group of friends to hang out with. We hang out with the same group of people all the time, usually all the same women, and one guy in the group has slept with all of them.

Match.com did a free 2 week trial thing about 6 years ago.
I was single and at first started to delete this stupid "spam" email and thought " Screw it, why not".

So I set up the profile BS, next day I was chatting with a cute little brunette.
We've been married for almost 3 years now.

Funny thing is, she did the 2 week trial thing too.
On my first day, I found her, which was her last day of the trial.
She said she was so sick of the wierdos she almost didn't even reply to me. Haha.
Glad she did!

But on the same note, I've recommended match.com to a few people and none of them have had any luck with it. I just got lucky.

But before I met her I was in the single and loving it faze for well over a year. Not a care in the world then. Of course my bike at the time got a TON more use then my buell haha.

[up] - Married and met my wife in Church. A huge thing to them is self-esteem. Ya gotta have some confidence in who you are. Change your hair, the way you dress or something and immediately think, "Piss on what they think, this is me - take it or leave it." Sounds cliche, but chicks dig it because it shows confidence.

And for sure take Fish's advice, "...just stop looking. Live your life. Do the things you love doing. One day you will trip over her." For me, that's when we met each other - when I decided to put my head down and work my ass off saving every penny with no worries for women.....next thing I know, we met, got married, and now I search sofas for pennies. ;)

Married, our 4-year anniversary is next saturday. Two kids. She's been a trooper for sure. I spent our wedding night at MEPS enlisting in the army. It's not easy but she's been a dedicated Army Wife. We actually come together under weird circumstances. We met back when we were 18 years old. She's from florida and I from Maryland and she was up visiting family in MD. she ended up in a chat room me and some friends from college used to use on AOL and we started talking and I offered to take her out for coffee. That resulted in a few months of seeing each other but we both knew she was only there temporarily. Well she left and I went back to man whoring and got a chick pregnant. Being young and dumb I thought, even though I didn't like the girl, it was my responsibility to be with her and provide the perfect father/mother situation for my daughter. Well let's just say that was a horrible idea. little over 2 years later I get an e-mail out of the blue from my future wife. Just a number and a "hey I'm in town call me". Well, needless to say I called. And thank god. I was rock bottom, no education, working night shift so i could take care of my daughter during the day. no insurance, no future for my daughter, nothing. worst shape of my life (wife has an unflattering pic of me that she like to whip out now and then to remind me of where I was and where I am now) But, she dedicated herself to picking my ass up and getting me back on track. It's not easy, it never will be, but it's worth it. And as the saying goes Behind every great man. . .
