ya I'll check for ya. Mine doesn't spin all too freely with the current belt either when it's up in the air but it does spin

Excited to see it all put back together, all the little details of cleaning it up will definitely show. Thanks for the bracket, ill let you know when it gets here. Also, I know of approximately 3 other firebolts in the area (one is a black and red one that i haven't talked to yet), so eventually i'll round them up and figure out a ride where we could all meet up.

Put new belt on today, surprisingly it's not as tight as I thought it would be. Can spin rear wheel just as before, removed the idler pulley from the bracket slid new belt on and pushed pulley up with my hand and slid bolt back through and done. I thought I'd have to use a jack or something. Maybe because mine is an 03'

Ya I put my jardine on not long ago and the fairing bracket was a BITCH to get on ver the 2 idler bracket studs so I just removed the pulley. Could easily do it on the side of the road!

After setting the bike back on the ground, the belt is still extremely tight, but oh well.

I finished up painting my headlight housings today, seems like it's going to work out well. Just need to get new bulbs as one is burnt out.

Here's my brembo rear caliper conversion with spiegler custom line all done:

I wasn't happy with how the oem brake line fit with the brembo caliper so spent a little $$$ to get this custom line done. If anyone else does this I ordered a 610mm line(should be ~24inches), it is a perfect fit. I measured like 100 times to be sure. The lines are fully adjustable but I left a slight amount of twist in the line to hold it off the spring/shock. I made a minor cut/bend to the wire clamp thing that holds the line at the swingarm and it's perfect. Still haven't ridden yet, should be riding in about a week.

Thanks!

Unfortunately close up pics make things like the fuel pump and rear shock/spring look like crap lol.

As of tonight my bike is ready to ride! Taking it to work tomorrow... And for any of you guys that remember the threads about our trucks, you'll notice I finally did the sport bumper swap on my ram! Got it for next to free too!!! (just had to buy the harness and switch for the fog lights).

Sorry for the dark pics:

Also picked up a large project at work in december and have been working non stop ever since then.

ya ya ya...excuses, excuses....I know...

Rode the bike to work today, everything is good except the rear brake. Almost no response from it. Maybe air in the line but I know that others had mentioned the stock master cylinder isn't enough for the brembo caliper... At least it's the rear and I can still ride.

takes a while to brake in the pads... stock master should be good... braking power never will be that good but should work better then original...my brake pedal goes down 1 cm or less and then its completly hard... if there is air in the line or caliper pedal never gets hard.

take a Marker and mark both side of the Rotor and go for a ride..then check whats left from the marks on the Rotor...

Thanks Dingo, I remember your issue. I don't think this is the same, although I can try it. It's also the same rotor I had before, and it's the rear. It almost feels like there's something clogging the line or MC. The pedal is very hard, it gets stiff just beyond the point when the brake light comes on. It can't be clogged though because fluid bleeds out.
