Help Support Buellxb Forum:

My log row/column data is fine.

Its the map that is loaded from the XDF that is all crazy. I dont want to edit the column/row names untill I know what order they go in. Reversing the order and setting LSB First changes the order.

Ok, modified an older map by hand.

Got it uploaded and damn. That is what Im talking about. Rides so much better, and feels like it got the HP back where it should be.

I look forward to getting it on a dyno with a wideband. :)

10-15mins or so. even when i had it hooked up during idle my tps was going crazy. wouldnt keep a steady idle. found out my wires in the tps are pulling them self out. so i just orderd a new one. double checked trhe timing plug gap and for leaks in the intake manifold

hiphopper:

I used a race map from an '06 and made changes from there. After a few data log rides, the bike is running like a champ. So much power. I got use to it having all the mods on a stock tune. Its nice to have all that power back.

Fock:

My data log rides were around 15 minutes. They include both city stop and go, highway cruise, and hard accel on secret back roads.

All and all, I am very happy with how the tune has worked out. I might do a write up on this due to there being limited support for beginners.

If anyone has any issues, let me know. Seems like I ran into all of them

Good luck! [up]

I have been keeping notes. Might turn into a video since there is so much to cover.

Ill start work on it next week. [up]

@spud please mail me your setup if you can! It would be great to use your setup as an easy and fast way forward before it starts snowing here in sweden:) How did you set your o2 sensor? [email protected]

@hiphopper.

I can email it over to you, but your best bet will be to grab this one '08 Map and make a few adjustments from the info you will get on a data log ride. This map alone will get you some smiles, but will not be perfect.

I suggest putting this one on your bike, and running a few data log rides and going from there. Im still not 100% happy with mine. I need to get it on a dyno so I can get some actual numbers off the bike.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance. I dont know everything, but im trying like hell to figure it out.

Good luck!! [up]

All,

I am having trouble with my table data. It would seem that the DDFI 3 data from Mike's site (great work by the way Mike) is not matching up with the data exported from the bike ECM.

Setup: 08 XB9 jardine K&N filter.
Software: TunerPro v 5 - 5.00.7174.00

I tried adjusting "LSB First" with no luck. It just messed up the start row. I'm going to try to attach a screen grab for reference.

Thanks in advance for any help

Rick,
You need to adjust the values in the ADX file. Click on the Acquisition tab then click the Edit Definition tab. Now click the "+" next to History table. Now you will need to click on the "Front Accel Corrections". Next "Rows (Y axis)tab near the bottom. Now you can adjust the TPS values to match your ECMs information. Do the same thing on the "columns" tab. After doing this do the same thing for the rear cylinder and save it. Now your data should show correctly. I hope this helps.

@ spud
08 map just get me numbers all over like your first maps, how did you set the o2 sensors?

I had to uninstall everything and start over. Downloaded all new files and everything worked. Not real sure what the issue was.

At one point I had to modify '06 maps by hand to get it to work.

The o2 sensor info was set with ECM Spy.

help!
how do I set 02 sensors in tunerpro. I have two of them on my 2010 bike. or should I just let them be active and do some other setting?

@spud I took the 2008 map and changed a copy of my stock manually, but I have not uploaded yet.

From what I can tell, you cant set the o2 sensor values in TunerPro. You will need to set it with ECM spy.

That is what I had to do.

first trip with the new "racemap" finished, unfortunately came the USB cable off when I put the computer under my jacket, so there where not any logging.
I would have expected a better result from this 08 map that i copied. There was a lot of popping when I released the gas. However, there was more power between 4000-5000 rpms which I missed earlier. at this stage my stock 2010 map works better. but there will be some more logging and tuning tomorrow...
