What did you do for your Buell today?

Today I did the breather mod for my XB Lightning. I also gave her a bath and cleaned the wheels.

wasnt just today, but the last 5 days. just completed about a 2800klm round trip with between 7 and 23 other buellers.

rode through mountain pass, rain, drizzle, sunshine, fog, narrow goat track roads, back roads, twisties, sweepers, and a friendly chat with a police cop to check our licenses.

I rode it around a bit then I pulled off the exhaust to send to Randy over at Hawk. While I was at it, I also dropped the oil pump to check the drive gear. Thankfully it looked great. Now it's going to be a long wait to get the exhaust back so I can put it all back together.

Re-fixed my air horn, I think I finally got it!
Replaced the cheese grater
Installed my new Xblight
Moved the plate
Installed 2 rear led strips for extra turn sigs
Cleaned up some road rash on mt front wheel

Drank a F*ck ton of Jack!

I pulled the front wheel bearings out of my S3 today. I will order new bearings and a spacer tomorrow and reassemble it next weekend.

I pulled my exhaust off to send to hawk, replaced my chin fairing rivits with bolts, modified my inner airbox, polished up my headers.

Ordered a k&n, took off the pipe for a hawk, and took off the ECM to flashed to a race.

Burned the back tire up and parked it until I get a new one

I stared at my forks and a Duc fender i picked up. Trying to decide if i modify the fender to fit or just make brackets. Body working the fender to fit is more work but... Sigh. I stare at my bike and overthink stuff regularly.

Took her out and forced fresh air down her intake at 80mph. Got home and did the crankcase breather reroute. Oh and my new levers and grips from Ride-It are fantastic that happened last week.

Waxed her, and covered her up but I just bought some fuel stabil and seafoam. Going to possibly start her back up this upcoming weekend to get those fluids in her...that sounds bad.
