Cleaned the little air filter I installed during the breather reroute, polished my RT-1, made a new gasket for the small two screw inspection cover on the left side, took a ride and then had a beer in the garage listening to the 09 'bolt cool down. Life can be good!

only reason I decide to end my ride for the day.

Today the bike sat in the cold garage. but tomorrow, it is getting new decals, and some polishing. Then Friday my bars come in and I reassemble the controls. Then if its not snowing out, finally enjoy my bike with its new R front end!!!

...forgot to post last weekend (Black Friday) I bought a tuning package from theoctopus...now have to find some time to do some data logging.

Not a thing, my bike has been neglected (wrapped in a cover) for the past month, At that point I did change the oil, give it a good detail, and prep it for winter. It needed it after sitting for 2 months in grit due to riding it in the rain on Labor Day weekend and then parking it for the year.

Next time it will see the sun will most likely be April, as for mods it is set. Just a background now and again on my laptop[smirk]

I chirped my alarm just to let her know i was thinking about her. I was in the hospital yesterday for Chronic Migraines so i dont quite have my strength back.

FINALLY did some NB datalogging/tuning (GEGO corrections). All was done in the cul-de-sac, so 1st gear only from idle to about 3k RPM spurts. Overall everything looks good after running VE analyzer - a good bit of fuel added to the race map (max of 13), but that's easily due to the open airbox/high-flow filter and exhaust. I'll burn the new maps tomorrow and see if my cold stumbles are cured.

I got a few extra hard earned bucks coming my way so I'm buying the free spirit belt tensioner, airbox delete, new EBR front rotor and new brake pads front and back. Also new mounting hardware.

Rode the bike to work over the last two days and can say that the first round of tuning I did a week ago has been working pretty well.

Started it up, rode it to work, gave her a nice warmed up 1st gear 10.5k rpm red-line fly-by on an R8 that lives around my station
