What's with the 5 quarts jcrosby? Thought it was 1 in the primary and 2.5 in the swing-arm? [confused] Making me 2nd guess myself... ;)
 
Cleaned whole bike
Lube everything that needed to be
Change oil and battery
Removed the solenoid

Oh9bolt, that new lightning tail looks bad ass! Oh and those valve stems covers really hold the air in great!

Thanks man! I think it turned out nice! The valve stem covers were a great investment as well.
 
Over the past few days - worked on the fuel maps some, based on afr while riding, trying to remember where the lean/rich points are (tps/rpm). Getting closer :)
 
Ordered a brand new effing Ss swing arm from LSHD1.com today! Tired of messing around with parts with problems!

$508! Ouch is correct considering I had already purchased a used one and had it powder coated! Turned into an expensive conversion, but looking forward to it being done!
 
Finally got the brackets made. Everything is ready to go weld together then its getting ceramic silver for the head pipe and muffler. Should have a good contrast against all the black.

I think you will like the finish product ... started to ride(not much yet) my SS swingarm conversion(among other things) and I like it so far ... :p


@ vtech .... your oil filter color hurts my eyes .... ;)
 
Put my Drummer SS on today [up] sounds excellent and i'm loving the way it looks with the ceramic coated headers. Cant decide if i want to install the chin fairing or not
