where do you keep your phone?

In my pocket - where it belongs.

IF I feel like taking calls or listening to music I use my Parrot headset. Works great.

There is (check postings) an iPhone case if you want to use as a video recorder.

Made this with the hard case that came with my otter box.
Worked awesome as a speedometer.

Couldn't take a pic of it with the phone in b/c the phone is the camera

GTP3800- BTW, I didnt mean to sound like a dick... I realize I may have. I forget that phones now-a-days have all the fancy doo-dads on em. I have an iPod nano that I use for music (route through sleeve of jacket and attach to glove so I can change while in motion), and dont typically need a GPS for anything (internal compass :D) . I guess my comment was a bit narrow minded.

Got the idea from a set of bar end mirrors where it has a bolt Inside a rubber hose with two nuts on either end. When tightened the rubber hose buldges out. The rubber also acted as a shock absorber.

(internal compass ) . I guess my comment was a bit narrow minded.

my internal compass stops working once I get out of state lol. and Thats alright my original question was vague, I didnt specify that I wanted the phone in view for that purpose versus using it as an actual phone.

So i have a mount that I made for my old gps before I sold it, I made it so that I can mount it like Riderdie showed. I also decided to buy a clear ipod case that my phone will fit into. With this I plan on mounting it somewhere on the fairing stay.

Oh man that's a crazy set up, the only issue I see with that is its in direct sunlight. Also I would get tired of taking those off every time I stopped somewhere. That's really cool tho

I just bought a iPhone suction cup windshield mount, I'm just going to cover the rpm side of the panel. And of course secure it with a lanyard in case it comes off.

Kab, what is that set up? i like the idea that you can take it off easily rather than something bolted in.

It was just a mount I got off eBay for 4.99 free shipping. Fits perfectly on rpm side and doesnt hit the bars on full turn. Plus it has camera holes, the suction cup is pretty damn strong. I think I could easily put it on the front with a teather and record rides

i like it! do you happen to hava link, ebay item number, or store name?? I'm sure there are plenty of those out there, but i'd prefer to get one that someone verifies has a good cup.

I like the mount, it seems very durable. I still plan on making a small tether just incase it does come loose on a ride. Shipping time wasn't "too" bad either.

yea kab that is pretty badass looking. I like how you can take it off without any screws or anything. Im going to look at getting that as well! I like the way it looks.

For 4.99$ free shipping it's worth it, I drive a semi and also use the mount for Bluetooth sattalite radio in my truck. Works great all around. What I really like is the camera holes in the back of the mount, the iPhone 4 has pretty decent video recording.
