where do you keep your phone?

kab how is it working for you and did you ever figure anything out for a tether ? I just ordered on just like that for my Evo 4G so I was curious how its working . The only down side I see to that mount for me is I use an otterbox so taking it in and out the case may be a pain . I also got my friends old otterbox clip to try and make something like riderdie . I'll post pics and reviews after I get them mounted and test them out . I can't wait to use the gps speedo app my speedo is off at least 10 mph . It should be nice to look down and not have to guess . I've tested the app in my truck and seems to be spot on .

Well its winter here so I havnt used it on my bike, aside from making sure it fit on gauge panel. But I do use it in my semi and hasn't fell off the windshield. I bought the open face otter box for my iPhone, it's alot easier to take off and put back on. For a tether I have some small steel wire that has a plastic coating on it and I used some heat shrink with adhesive in it and looped it around a piece of the mount, on the other end I did the same thing but used a small clasp off an old leash for my dog and I'm just going to clip that on the clutch cable. The tether is just for assurance so I don't lose my phone doing 100, but personally I don't think the suction cup will come loose.

Also I really like riderdie's mount but it's right in direct sunlight, and for any phone or gps having the actual screen in direct sunlight will cause problems.

So here is my new mount . Thanks riderdie for the idea .

I've also ordered the suction cup mount like kab but ordered from hong kong I think and still at least 10 days out .

I guess my question would be...Why do you need to look at your phone on your bike anyway? are you just THAT popular?
