I mounted up the main electronics to my cover plate. I forgot to snap a pic. But on the bottom side of my electronics plate I installed a lining:

It's basically butyl rubber with a tin foil top to keep it from being sticky. It will cut down on engine noise, and should keep the heat down and out the fan hole. It might also keep the intake air cool... not really sure how effective it will be. But it will help. Main reason is to keep the plate and mounted electronics vibration free. I also installed some between my ECM and it's mount.

Also mounted up the oil cooler and lines. I cut off the old bracket for the voltage rectifier since it is being relocated.

I replaced the horn with a larger automotive style horn. Should be louder and able to be heard under the aluminum air box lid.

Still waiting on the shock. But needed to get it off the jack to get the oil lines installed. Swing arm and lines done. This is as far as I can go until the shock shows up.

Little more progress. Really wish I had the shock, but it can be changed with the subframe in place on this bike. So...

I mounted up my rear caliper. It's a brembo caliper using the hidden mounting bracket.

Also mounted up the rear master and fluid can and finished up the Woodcraft rear sets. I rebuilt the master and painted it.

Then I put on the exhaust. It will have to come back off, just wanted to get a look at the bike with it on.

The bike is becoming visually a battle between satin black and polished aluminum. A little teaser pic;)...

Thanks guys.Just got word that my new shock shipped out. Should be here by next weekend. Penske changed their typical reservoir hose mounting to the shock for me. It will use a banjo fitting like the factory shock. They also adjusted the length of the reservoir hose, and powder coated the spring black vs. the standard red.

In the down time I decided I didn't like the licence plate bracket I made to much. So there will be some more fabrication posts to follow. I also moved my rear directionals to a new location. They will look like axle sliders.
 
I made a licence plate mount today. I made it with some of the hubs I made to make my subframe. I like it a lot better than the original one I made. It's just rough steel, I'll have to make another trip to the powder coater.

It will attach using the lower shock mount. I made it in a manner so it can be adjusted quite a bit. The arm that mounts to the shock can be set at any angle, and the otherend that attaches to the llicence plate can be rotated as well.

I used a LED licence frame from Custom Dynamics. It seems pretty nice. The frame is aluminum and the LEDs are bright. Seems well made. I mounted it so the LEDs are on the bottom and shine up.

For the rear turn signals I'm using Motogadget M-blaze disc LED lights. They are designed to be mounted in the handlebar tube. But I found out they fit great in the rear axle. I don't know if this is "legal". But these things are so frickin bright I can't see how someone could flunk them for inspection. I really like the M-blaze light line. Super high quality and crazy CRAZY bright 360° of light.... and discrete.

I'll post more when I get to it if there is interest. All these wires will be shrink wrapped. They will exit from the brake side. There are a few mods that need to be done to the hardware supplied with the light kit, and a few wire hold downs added so it is just about invisible.

On the bottom of the swing arm there is a drain hole that leads to the pocket for the rear caliper. The wires will be run through there and be zip tied to the brake line then up into the bike.

Then as I mentioned be run along side the brake line until splitting off to go up into the bike. These pics look like a hack job. Once the wires are shrink wrapped and hold downs installed it will look on par with the rest of my wiring work. There will be insulated pull apart terminals for the right side blinker inside the axle.
