As for a fat rear tire, absolutely not. These bikes are made to corner and I'll never do anything to harm that. I've ridden almost all modern sport bikes and this one has my favorite handling charistericts. This bike will mainly see mountain roads and more track days. Maybe if I were building a chopper, but not a sport bike.
As for the rear seat, I kind of agree. From the beginning I told myself this is going to be a very mild build with no frame, suspension or geometry changes. All of my other bikes are single seaters. I wanted to keep this one two up possible. I like taking my little brother or girls for a ride every now and then. I will be building a seat cowl to cover the rear seat though, so it will look good I hope.
The ducati I'm building will have a solo tail, and titanium subframe. It will also be under 300 lbs, which would be a good weight for the buell. Ha I can dream can't i?
