    Headlight going off and on

It only happened after 30 min or so but my headlight would go off then come back on. It would only happen at low rpm like at stoplights or stopsigns. It made me think the votage regulator was failing but the battery stayed fully charged. Thought about this and got out the dielectric grease did...

    Turn signals issues in Cincinnati

The electrical diagnostic manual has a troubleshooting checklist of steps to follow if your turn signals fail. The book was less than 60 $ and easy to read in the garage while looking at your bike.

Actuator showed up today. It's made by FoMoCo if someone knows ford #3l3e-9g730-ea that no stamped on part. The cable bracket is no longer cast into the part but now a bolt on piece. I'm not saying to buy the part from ford but if you cant get the part from Buell and the Buell part no is s1138.1aa.

Put a new back tire on last week and took a good look at the belt. At 34500 miles it was cracked between every tooth on the belt. Installed new belt purchased last year and looked at the wheel bearings. The factory bearings failed at 10000 miles but the ones from a local store are still feel...

Several dirt trackers have raced at pikes peak. Your supposed to be successful in amateur racing before moving on to first year pro otherwise known as novice class. Unless the rules have changed you start out on a 600 single. 40 points and one year later your now rated a junior and get to race...

    FINALLY!

The best way I found to adjust the belt is to use a motorcycle tie down and a straight edge. On my X1 remove the seat run the strap over the subframe and fasten to both sides of the swingarm. Tighten the strap until the axel swingarm pivot and center of countershaft are aligned. That will be the...

2000 M2 has oil in the airbox

The old trick that works on tubers is to run with oil level right between the full and low marks. If the oil is all the way to the top mark unless you checked it hot it will blow oil out the vent.

Help from the vintage two stroke gurus

If my remember it was three psi vacuum for 5 min. It would be easy to make using the exaust flange gasket and a rubber cork with a hole to stick a nipple in for the carb flange. Yes a mighty vac would work fine.
