How much can I talk this guy down?

Always find it interesting how Buell owners degrade the value of their own bikes by bashing prices. I totally support telling people what to look for before buying, but seems like both forums tend to drive prices lower. I got a fire sale price on a tv on Black Friday, but that doesn't mean...

    riding with a passenger

Ride very conservatively at first and know exactly where you are going. I had a lapse and made an evasive maneuver to change lanes and accelerate quickly to not miss a turn and almost dumped her off the back. Scared the crap out of me. We started in the neighborhood to practice looking through...

    Early XMas for me!!!

Thrstrmech hit the nail on the head. The key is shallow drawers. Makes drawer categories easier too. Screwdrivers, wrenches, piers, drivers, measuring/precision tools, body tools, and misc automotive.

    Early XMas for me!!!

Shadowing is the best thing I've done. You always know if a tool is missing, and it's always in the right spot. We use this place for our boxes at work: http://www.cribmaster.com/tool-box-shadow-foam.html

    Camera's

Bought a 60D about a year ago to go along with an older rebel XT. It has some features more for photography vs video, but still shoots 1080. The newer t4i looks to have better continuous focus for video, which is a weakness of the 60D, but again, I don't shoot much video anyway. Don't have...

Mount & Balance XB Wheels at an Independent Shop?

Took mine in to a local shop that has free installation if you bring in the wheel loose. No mention that they needed a special tool, or maybe they had it? I I ad to guess, there is no special tool. I think HD is pulling your chain to try to get you to have them do it.

New Buell XB12S rider - need advice ...

All I can say is you'll get used to it. I have a laminar lip screen extender deal, and it helps deflect wind from your torso, but does nothing for getting your head out of the wind.

I almost went riding with these guys last Wed night..

Saw a guy in he median yesterday with what looked like a king size comforter wadded up under the rear fender. He was busy prying out pieces while a cop watched him. Didn't look like he went don, but it must have locked up his rear tire... Secure your stuff people!
