    Alrighty thanks! Yeah it sucks not having a manual to look up these silly questions. I had to ask tho cause some people tell me check it on the stand and others say hold it straight up then check it.

    Ok thanks, the one on americansportbike.com that matches the left side scoop, does that come with everything needed to fit it? Just wondering if anyone on here has that scoop. It mentions that you have to do some trimming and paint it cause its fiberglass.

    motor noise

    My 2007 Lightning sometimes gets a loud ticking right before the fan kicks on but if I keep the rpms at 3000 or higher it doesnt seem to do it. I called HD and they said just noisey engines and it has to do with the motor warming up and the oil hetting thinner from the heat. It used to worry me...
