    2007 xb12s fs

Hey sorry guys. I didn’t get an alert For a reply to this thread. I’m located in Knoxville Tennessee. I have it listed here on craigslist and my Facebook marketplace for 4700. That is leaving a little wiggle room for the general public. It’ll be a bit less for you guys but its still a really...

    2007 xb12s fs

Always garaged and never crashed or laid down. Many tasteful modifications. The color Is translucent hero blue. I am the second owner and have owned this motorcycle since 2010. This is a very powerful bike with some really genius engineering as you know. It will be hard to part with but at 43...

    quick, easy exhaust fun!

I have a 12s and know very little about the differences in the S and the R. I am assuming you mean the servo was under the seat? If so,it was probably disconnected and turned off when installing an aftermarket pipe and or open air box mod. Normally it's found sitting on top of your inner airbox...

    quick, easy exhaust fun!

[up] Took me a while to figure out the changes after I did mine. Still riding like this and no major problems. I used ecmspy to shut of the servo so that took care of any engine light problems but I do believe I lost a bit of torque and now have a hiccup around 2500 rpm until bike is fully...

    Thought on patching tires?

Ok, first, I can admit that it can be safe to run a "properly" pluged AND patched tire. The problem I have is that not in all cases will you know for sure if it was done right ( tire removed from rim, plugged and patched from the inside)or even if you do it yourself will you know if the repair...

    Thought on patching tires?

This could be so much cleaner if we just put it to a vote from here. Plug tire or not? For this purpose, figure the hole was caused by a roofing nail or about that size.

This one is really growing on me. Think this is a one off, but still..

    Redline-- Really how often?

Never hit the rev limiter on mine. I've owned it two years and in that time have had it up in the yellow a few times but never red. You just don't get that much more out of of it taking it up to the red. Not enough to warrant premature engine failure and having to buy these high priced hard to...

    Thought on patching tires?

Just trying to keep the comments straight. The 3 other tire comment was mine. Not the truck vid. What other theory of mine is wrong? I'm pretty sure the gist of all my comments were that riding a streetbike on a plugged tire (plugged right or wrong)is a BAD idea. I can stand by that.

    Thought on patching tires?

Ok, thanks for allowing that something COULD happen. Now with that said, would you want it to happen doing 60 on a mountian road? I agree that they don't just fly apart, but a floppy tire spinning that fast can do a hell of a lot of damage. This topic was referring to an otherwise good tire but...

    Thought on patching tires?

This is just a no brainer for me. I'm not the most safety savvy guy around, hell I push the limit all the time. But on a bike, the number one thing you don't go cheap on is your tires.I'm rollin on all four used tires on my old 62 Beetle. They are full of plugs and I don't sweat it, if one blows...

    Bike shut off

X2. I've noticed that mine can be really sensitive if not warmed up good. Even in 80-90 degree temps. It will buck and pop through the intake and even die if I blip the throttle while cold. Runs like a champ when warm. You said the fuel injectors were running, did you wait until the fuel pump...

    Thought on patching tires?

First, I have never tried patching or plugging a motorcycle tire, but have plugged lots of car tires with no failures. That being said, like someone else mentioned, you've only got two tires to the road. I'd spring for a new tire and then patch that one just to have some fun bleach burnouts![mad]

    vintage dirt bike thread!

Haha.Yes. I did. The bike was just so cool. The shifter and kickstart was reversed, and then you had the cool name factor. On top of that 360cc, a twelve year old kid feeling bullet proof... These things landed like a Zeppelin
