Well got a little more work done [up], Shows how some of the smoke will look on the other side, but I will have buildings, HMMWV (Military Hummer), and some Marines within the smoke to give more detail and help to break up the simplicity of the smoke.

at the time it was a mixed meaning tattoo, i've always believed that slowing down and enjoying stuff would be beneficial to me. also i had 2 points left on my license from two tickets in a car. (never been pulled over on my bike) so i placed it where i could see it for when i was driving. it's kinda defined me since i've gotten it. i've just started chilling more, enjoying simple things.

i cant wait to get my next one, which will be nautical stars but like the government kind in the shape of the big dipper with new mexico's zia symbol as the north star

i imagine siblings names are next, and each year a new symbol defining that year of my life.

I just decided I wanted an eagle backpiece and told the artist to do what he wanted and make it "a little white trash" so this is what he came up with. Really no meaning behind it, I prefer to just let the artist do what he/she wants. Getting the skeleton finished tomorrow night then some background stuff and I'll be ready to start on the next piece!

Yea, I dig it for sure. Not exactly what I had pictured when I thought it up but that's kind of why I went with it. It seems like every time I pick a tattoo I end up wishing I would have got something else so why not let someone else pick? lol

Just have to wear a t-shirt that's all, they don't care. They knew I was prior military when they hired me and even at my interview I wore a short sleeve button up shirt, one of the few places not to quick to judge you just on a tattoo or first appearance.

I work at a great place and will hate to leave once I finish up my teaching degree. While I teach I know I will have to wear a long sleeve shirt for sure. Already done some student teaching and wouldn't dare to let the Principle or other teachers know I had full sleeves. The guy I was teaching for is my old Science teacher from high school and he could care less, same with the students, some of them seen my lower forearms one day and really didn't even take a second look. Different generations I guess.
