if i got a hold of one, it would suffer the following... al under the duress of FUN!
a/ tail eliminator of course.
b/ exhaust change (*** off that side pipe crap)
3/ top fairing chop. reduce soem of that bulk size up top.
IV/ bar ends (mirrors placement would not be there
V/ anodise forks black
f/ if possible... a belt conversion. i hate maintainence of chains.

Emailed EBR on the Front Brake Rotor and although it will fit an XB they are not going to be for sale until years end or early next year[sad]

Bike isn't even close to my taste either but you know that along with styling they had to play in the function and racability above all else.

I would trade for the Typhoon in a heart beat as well if I had the 1190rs too [up]
 
Most people who dont like the 1190rs are also owners of the lightening model or the CR (more naked bikes).

most people who preffer the styling of the 1125R over the 1125CR, or the firebolt over the lightening will probably like the 1190RS over the Typhon... it will go the same the other way around too. they are two completely differently styled bikes with relatively the same engines. they each suit different tastes.
 
Im a bolt fan and rider, but the stacked headlights, the side pipe = barf to me [confused] not my style. Bet its a rocket ship to ride tho!

I said most...give me some credit. Now, I am not a fan of the exhaust...but something tells me it comes off easily ;). I do kinda like the headlights though. reminds me of the ducati 999
 
The bike is Amazing and is the best bike Erik has ever designed or produced!!! To the haters out there you just don't know good taste. I'm sure alot of Ducati riders are going to be looking at this bike!
 
I don't mind the stacked lights actually think it looks pretty good. But I have never been a fan of full fairing bikes.

Usually I hate full tails as well but since the 1190 basically has nothing but a seat pan it doesn't bother me.

Either way I can afford one RS or Typhoon[sad]
 
I'd love to see under those fairings before I decide whether I want her naked :p

from the looks it might be able to unbolt and if not it'd see some dremel action if it's sexy under there.
 
I have a CR and love the 1190 [up] and the typhoon.
If the creator builds it , I'm into it!! Just like seeing and owning different than mainstream :D
 
yes that is my opinion.but business wise he is known for naked bikes.you could build the typhoon for a lot cheaper meaning you could sell more.that bike at 44,000 is worthless most cant afford it.its not raceable with carbon fiber farings unless things have changed since i was on a track.fiber glass only.bad business decision imo.
 
yea i read it.at 44,000 you shouldnt swap farings to go racing and even if you do at that price it should come with two sets.
 
i would just trade it for a typhon
the Typhoon 1190 parts for conversion will be available like said in press from BUELL-Parts.com

1125R = the 2005 Ford GT
& the 1125CR = the 2010 Dodge Viper
& the 1190RS = the 2010 SSC Ultimate Aero
& the 1190RR = the 2011 Hennessey Venom GT
now add this
1190 RS Carbon Edition=SSC yet to be named NEXT Generation SUPERCAR

because like Erik says here the 1190RS Carbon Edition is the top of the line Top shelf Best parts money can buy, Erik Buell Racings' High End best of the best Real Exotic street superbike to go up against the other best bikes out there, it is mostly function over form but they had to make it street legal too and wanted it to leagal and homogated everywhere to race the 1190RS in the near future, but listen to what he says about it.
