^I think they should save that name until they find another company to work with to start mass producing bikes that are affordable to most people.

I do wish I had 40000 burning a hole in my pocket though.

Great new video.

From Erik's facebook when asked about the "typhoon prototype"

Erik Buell: We will be building a streetfighter in the future. Exactly what it would be, when, and at what price point is not available information. The Typhon was a concept bike, and as shown would be $40K plus.

I for one am a lover of standards, but think this bike is hitting on a whole new level! He is a race guy and this bike looks like a serious contender! Does look like Duc from the front, but i like that style also :) I like that he is trying on new stylings. I hope when he gets things really going, maybe he'll even introduce some models like the Ulysses or a motorad. I would love to see what he comes up with!

Baal, I noticed the scoops. Weird!

Its strange reading the posts, you guys either are in love with it or hate it so bad you want to through rocks at it like cavemen!
i think its what america needs,a true jap @$$ kicken sportbike. I would not give up my xb12r for it because its not what i am into riding now,a few years ago I would have sold body parts for it.
The bike is sex on wheels and we need it!we dont need another harley fat or night whatever.

I'm gunna spark this thing up again.

So its been about a year now...

EBR is still trying to get to its 100th bike sold...

The 1190 is a bored 1125, did they just have 100 laying around? Thought the line was on E-stop?

It is so hard to get these motor parts, I have no more hair to pull out.

How come these clutch covers are so hard to get?

What do I put in my 1125 if its not a rotax/buell?

So a $40k bike with no parts to fix it if you go down.
I like the bike, but what do you do to replace parts on it.
EBR dosnt sell anything but pegs for it...let alone common body plastics or motor parts for the 1125.

I'm sure if you go down (Hold your wallet when you do) They make their own Carbon Fiber parts so I'm sure if you were to cntact them they would be able to quote you for body parts. Possibly the same for other bits and pieces. I bet if you were to purchase the bike they would explain stuff like that to you.

Its kind of like buying a ferrari. You have to take it to the Ferrari dealer to have it fixed. I assume its the same with these bikes. If you have 40k to spend on rec vehicle you have the money to take it back to them to fix it. IMO[cool]

Nice analogy, what I Was getting at but 5x's simpler

So why dont they offer it now?

I need a clutch cover, I'd buy the one used on the 1190.
Alot of those 1190 parts would interchange with the 1125, becides the obvious, like fairing...unless they offer the whole thing as some kind of kit.

Did you see that EBR took the low output stator and casing off their store? I hope they re-list it. I Wanna buy one just in case my future 1125CR poops out on me

It was there but said out of stock for some time now...I'd have to look again to see if its gone.

I dont expect them to have it all in stock for every buell, but I do for the 1190...and why not if those parts intercahnge with other buell models.

BTW I know whats up with HD vs Buell vs EBR...
